GFAP-immunopositive glial cells are embedded in the subcutaneous lipoma. The extradural and intradural stalk have cord-like fibrocollagenous tissue containing adipose tissue, peripheral nerve fibers, clusters of melanocytes, and skeletal muscle fibers.
